I've just cooked this and unfortunately I potentially had the pan too hot? Not sure.. it smoked out all of downstairs when I melted the butter and added the Thyme and Rosemary!! But.. on a positive note, all was good and it turned out very well 😊

Yes if the pan is to hot it can cause the butter to smoke. Things like vegetable oil have a high smoke point so won't smoke at a high heat but things like butter or extra virgin olive oil have a lower smoke point, so thats why it started smoking when on a high heat. I'm really happy it still turned out well! :)
