Step 1

Wash the rice and then place into a saucepan with 195ml of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a light boil, cover with a lid and cook for 12-14 minutes. Once cooked, leave the lid on and allow it steam and rest for 10 minutes.

Surprisingly simple to make once all ingredients gathered together., Very tasty. Added a bed of romaine lettuce, cubed cucumber and cubed avocado to boost vegetables. As I am on my own, I intended to make 2 portions and save one for later but ended up eating all of the mince beef mixture, but with one portion of rice and one egg. Still within my calorie allowance.
