Step 1
Use the back of your knife to stretch and flatten the steaky bacon. Then wrap each sausage in the bacon, using 2 rashers per sausage.

Lovely 😍 this also works great with halloumi too, just chop the halloumi into sticks and then make it the same way 😋

I find that when I try cooking pigs in blankets they release a lot of liquid that causes them to steam instead of roast, would you recommend draining this halfway to get a better cook?

Hi mate, it definitely depends which sausages/bacon you buy as some will release more water than others, but also fat will render out too. If it’s water that’s coming out rather than rendered fat, I would definitely drain it halfway through and if at the end it’s still not browned enough, you could try popping it under the grill to crisp up 😊

Just really started cooking new stuff in my early 50's. Lol. And all your recipes really appealed to me. Anyhoo, just did this tonight and by god they were amazing. That glaze is out of this world. With air fried chips, cracked salt and pepper and the remainder of the glaze on them. Thanks Max
